Surprised by the title of this post? The truth is, you can avoid the flu and other severe illnesses. I’m talking about long-term. When I say “never”, I mean never.
Why do I have the audacity to claim that you could get to a place in your life where the flu can’t even touch you? I haven’t had the flu or a severe cold in about ten years. In addition, I have friends who can honestly claim the same level of health, even for their children.
We aren’t taking a special herb three times a day. We aren’t drinking a juice that is high in antioxidants. We haven’t discovered a super-powerful multi-vitamin tablet or a secret brand of spring water.
The most natural flu remedy you can find
My friends and I simply follow a lifestyle–especially particular nutrition principles–that help our immune systems and adrenal glands to be strong. Some of the principles are ones you know you should do, even if you’re not doing them:
- exercise regularly
- don’t smoke
- eliminate processed foods
Some of the other principles have been lost to our modern Western society, such as:
- the health benefits of saturated fats
- the power and nutritional superiority of raw foods over cooked
- using food combining for healthy weight maintenance
What to do if you’re sick of getting sick
Over the past few years, I have developed a passion for teaching people how to use nutrition to improve their health. I’m going to be honest with you: it’s a most frustrating passion, because people just don’t want you messing with their diet.

OMG, I had to laugh out loud when you said – “I’m going to be honest with you: it’s a most frustrating passion, because people just don’t want you messing with their diet.” Isn’t that the truth!
It took years before my good friend would listen. It took child behavior problems to drive her to trying anything – including eating healthy!
