Natural Cures For Mood Swings

Natural cures for mood swings are not often talked about in the public square. Mainly because the FDA doesn’t allow anyone to claim anything that isn’t a drug to be a “cure.” You’ve undoubtedly heard about the drugs that treat such mental disorders as depression and schizophrenia.

However, Western medicine has left the definite impression that if you are a female who suffers from monthly mood swings, or a teenager with ADD, or an adult with manic depression, you may be able to relieve the symptoms with drugs, but will otherwise have to live with the problem for the rest of your life (or, in the first case, until menopause).

Which is a sad deception indeed.

The fact is, you can not only treat emotional and mental disorders naturally, but you can even make them go away – forever. Following is a list of just some of the ways that will effectively treat, and perhaps even cure, mood swings and related problems.

1. Eliminate processed foods.

For some people, getting brain stimulants – known as excitotoxins – out of the diet instantly solves the problem. MSG and aspartame are the two most notorious excitotoxins, and should be avoided like the plague whether you suffer from mood swings or not.
