Food As Medicine
Whatever your health goals, whether to simply avoid the cold and flu or to support your body in healing itself from a degenerative disease, the first place to start is in improving your nutrition. The keys are
- Eliminating all processed foods;
- Consuming at least nine servings of fruits and vegetables, including dark leafy greens and brightly colored fruits and vegetables, daily;
- Cutting back or completely eliminating grains from your diet, unless your ancestry consumed a lot of grains with no health problems;
- Eating meats/eggs that come from animals raised on pasture.
Also, find a high-quality whole-food supplement, as the healthiest diet will still not provide everything your body needs for optimum health.
